Sampler: Red is the Rose finish!!!

I wanted to show off this sampler I finished on Saturday....It was fun and fairly quick to do... Sherri at berripatch.blogspot.com is showcasing several of her designs via her etsy and I think she created a winner with this one!! I know I had fun making it!!

Well, off to the craft room to continue on with my MASSIVE organizing binge I have been on for the last 3 days....labeling fabrics, floss inventory revamp and many other projects that I have neglected...something about the first of the year that puts me in that "nesting" frame of mind. And oh, that little 4 ft Christmas tree in my craft room just might not be coming down! More info to follow soon!~~ Until then, have a good one!!! Faye

  4. What a lovely finish!

I'm deep into organizing closets and cleaning grout. There is something about the new year that makes me want to start it fresh and organized. I see others have "the bug" too. I'd love to see your craft room!

  12. Hi Faye!!

Thanks for the comment. How lucky you are to live in a beautiful area for golfing (and everything else. N.C. is on our vacation list!!) My son is a Golf Pro who works in Chicago during the summer and in a warm climate during the winter...He has been in Naples, Fl., the past 2 winters managing the pro shop and giving lessons.

BTW, I see you like Sue Grafton. I just received U IS FOR UNDERTOW for Christmas! Yes!!

Have a Happy New Year! :-)

  17. Wow - what a quick finish - and beautifully done, too. I need to be organizing, but no, I'm being lazy. I'm thinking of leaving my Charlie Brown tree out, too. Bet we have the same idea for them! Can't wait to see how yours looks when it's finished! Inspire me, Please!

  24. Beautiful finish! I'm so jealous that you're organizing. That was my plan, but they'll have to wait. And, as we know, closets and messes wait 'til we get there.
