Rebecca Robinson update.....

Hello all this early Saturday evening.... I've been doing a little " painting" on the main house of Ms Rebecca Robinson....

It is ALOT of filling in, but has given me a chance to unwind mindlessly....

.... The house is nearly completed and I'd like to fill in the roof tomorrow..... I have a few finishes to complete for customers, but again, filling in is a no brainer and allows me to rest....

A couple of my favorite motifs are still this little guy... Perched on his nest.....and...

...this flourishing vase of golden flowers.... I still wonder what Rebecca was like and if she dreamed up her designs or was guided by her teacher.... Never the less, her color palette is beautiful.....

I'm guessing I'm at about the halfway point of the sampler....

I enjoy her stitches until the end...

Smiles and blessings to all of you....

Faye

  5. She's gorgeous! That mustard color is very historic. I had a house in PA that same color. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me.
You take the best pictures of your work. I always enjoy looking at them.

  8. I love the gold of the house! Sometimes a little mindless is exactly what we need. Our lives are so busy in other areas and it's good to clear the mind. I hope you're having a great weekend!

  21. Faye, I'm so glad you are stitching Rebecca so I ca really see how beautiful she is! I want to order this! Did you get the silks from SL or are you using your own? The colours seem so much brighter than what's shown on the SL site.
