Today's picture walk.....

Greetings friends and fellow Stitchers...... Brrrrrrr here in the Carolina's! December is here, decorating is happening and festivities are scheduled.... The sights and joy of December~~

I wanted to share a few recent ornament finishes to help get, and keep, you in the holiday mood~ your beautiful cross stitched pieces have come to life so nicely... These recently left my craftroom and are now being displayed in your homes....

A few of you have inquired about the braided hair on this recently posted Shepherd's Bush stocking....
I used mohair thread that she provided, (specified by SB..)... After practicing hand braiding, I carefully attached using the same mohair thread for both the bands and the braids.... Somewhat tedious, but easily learned, I feel it's the perfect touch to this sweet child~ Again, thanks for all the inquiries....

    You are so sweet to,share these photos of these finished pieces. As I have said before, they are so lovely just as a stitched design and your amazing finishes turn them into beautiful, treasured keepsakes. Just wonderful!

    Another wonderful post! I love the fabric the stitcher chose for Farmhouse Christmas, and how you finished it with the blanket stitch, and used jute to tie on the bell and add a handle. And the Prairie Schooler chart? I've had that chart for YEARS, but would never have thought to use beads in the corner. Your finish on that is so sweet. And I just love the pocket on the Remember Me pillow - you give such attention to every detail. Thank you for this inspirational treat!
