And of course, there was sweet Yvonne from GA......
Today I got myself in gear and finished decorating my little tree in the craft room...I promised myself to keep it decorated all year long in a seasonal theme....and I did~~~
I started last Dec and went from Christmas theme, to winter theme, to Valentine theme, to spring theme, to patriotic theme, and then fall theme back to this years Christmas theme... I truly have enjoyed that little project and plan on continuing with it in 2011~~~~
Here is a closer shot at the bottom of the tree....I lay out my little PS stockings across the tree skirt...They are old and remind me of some of my earlier stitching years.....
(sorry for the shadows)
Thanks for visiting my blog today and I hope you are getting your final stitches in ornaments and stitchy gifts.....I am planning on framing a few gifts this week along with getting a couple exchanges in the mail.... And, I have my pile of ornies to sew.... I just love this time of year~~~
Have a great week everyone~~~ Peace, Faye
It looks like you had a fun stitching time with your friends and blogging buddies :)
ReplyDeleteI just love when you show your holiday/seasonal tree, and it amazes me how many beautiful ornaments adorn it! How much fun it must be for you to decorate and admire :)
Looks like you all had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteLove all your finishes and how you display them. I count myself as very lucky to have the BBD stocking stitched by you!
You had fun - woohoo for a great get together!
ReplyDeleteAnd your tree - sigh. It is because of that tree my sons bedroom is in danger. I need a bigger stitching room to be able to have a tree.
Love that tree!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you guys had a great time.
Your tree and all your ornaments are beautiful.
Have a great week!
Chris
A day spent with good friends doing the things we love is always well spent. I really like your tree and the red and white ribbon is cute. Is that a little sleigh I see tucked into the basket?
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fantastic time at the stitch-in. I am very glad. I took your idea of the seasonal tree, and have started my own. My tree is alot smaller because I don't have that many things to hang on it yet. But, I can get a bigger one if need be - hehehehe!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Christmas season!
The tree look awesome!!! Can't wait to start stitching ornaments like this and putting together a tree for our home. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time! I so wish I could go (and also that they had things like this in my area!) Faye, I just LOVE your beautiful little tree. It has looked great all year, but there is something special about Christmas! My modest collection of stitched ornaments is set to go up on the regular tree with all the others--I feel like I want them to have their own tiny tree--even though there is nowhere to put it! lol! :D
ReplyDeleteI just love your little tree. Doncha just love looking at all those special ornaments? Ya'll look like you had a great time at the stitching in. I really hate that I couldn't make it.
