Building houses.....

Greetings friends and fellow stitchers!

~ I wanted to show the houses I've been constructing of late.... I certainly don't have my builders license, but have been hammering away at these homes none the less.... I absolutely love stitching ANYTHING with a house in it!

First, here's my completed project of Liberty by Midsummer Night Designs~~~
image

~ A small quilted piece to lay flat on the table, or hang on my wire tabletop stand.... I felt like a few appliquéd stars spruced up things a bit....

image

Next, I just HAD to stitch up Liberty House by With thy Needle & Thread... The color palette is just perfect for the Americana collections we all have....
Liberty

Liberty

The American flag is waving in the breeze and what's not to love about the gorgeous red house?....

Last, but certainly not least, I have laid all the bricks, put on the roof and installed all the windows in The Scarlet House Ann Priest sampler..... This is going to be a gorgeous reproduction sampler, once completed~

image

I need to get front door painted.... That's the next thing on my to-do list!

image

... Please be safe, my friends, as we begin observing Independence Day... Remember why Americans pay tribute to our country, our freedom and our liberty...

Blessings to you all~~~

Faye
