Spotlight Designer~ The Little Mermaid~

....~Greetings fellow stitchers & friends~

Summertime is calling me!!!! That's a song that this Carolina girl knows by heart~ I recently was asked by Teresa of Crocettando fra le pesti to collaborate with her regarding her darling design"The little Mermaid"...Her design.... My stitching and vision of its finish.... Well, I happily took her up on the opportunity as I LOVE all things summer, beach and nautical...... What wasn't to love????

Here is the end result~~


The simple lines along with a blue with browns colorway...ahhhhh....



...I knew would want the final finish to be useful as well...



A pocket to hold needfuls.... The key charm seemed just right~



... I felt like a slightly scalloped edge would seem like the rolling waves...and, it would showcase the seashell charm~~ subtle additions to this prim design~



This cute piece will stay the beach... And will put a smile each time I walk by~
