Prized Pig~~

Greetings all!!! Busy times but I wanted to share a summer project I was a part of..... I L-O-V-E-D sewing this set of goodies.... Unique, fun and beautiful colors... Perfect for all animal lovers, especially, stitchers involved in farming.....

Isn't that cute?

The front of the book boasts a big pig...

The accompanying heart pillow is classic Stacy Nash.....

Of course, I had to add a little pizzazz to the inside of the book creation....

Primed up with stained homespun, wool and a few old accents~ Lots of hand stitching here....

A few of my favorites.....

With a matching wool heart including an antique button and a black bankers pin....

I just wanted to share a little tonight......

((Hugs)) to all...

Faye

  17. As always, I love to read your posts; such wonderful photos and creative ideas. Can you tell me where I find a good place to purchase the old looking bells that you use often in your finishes? I have some Xmas finishes that I would like to add those to. Thanks for any information; it is appreciated.

  18. Hi Faye, This is probably not the correct place to ask this, but I wasn't sure where to do it. I would really like to stitch Land of the Free by Willow Hill Samplings, but can't find it. I saw that you completed it (beautiful, by the way) and was wondering if you'd be interested in selling your pattern.

  19. It has been ages since I have done any counted cross and on linen to boot. I am lost in the yarn bag and trying to work down my stash. I have embroidery supplies tucked away in a tote. Maybe someday before I go blind in my old age I will do a few pieces. Your work is lovely. Thank you for sharing.

  20. This is such a lovely design and you finished it into a little treasure - again!
I admire all the people who can master the patience you need to stitch all this stitches and work on all these perfect little details.

    Hugs
