Birthday surprises continue....and a finish!

Greetings all!!!  I hope everyone's weekend has been wonderful~~~
 
I have been super busy in the craft room today....And, of course, cannot reveal those finishes... My customers would probably get a little miffed if YOU saw their pretty stitches finished up, before THEY did!!!
 
This week, I did receive a wonderful birthday blessing from my dear friend in France, Marylin.. She showered me with surprises from her beautiful country..... She knows I love anything Sajou....
She loaded me up with postcards, needles, thread winders, a CD about her city (love that!), Sajou thread, 2013 purse sized appointment book.... Sajou heaven, I tell ya!!

....This most wonderful Sajou wooden thimble....a total treat!!......

And a gorgeous C mon monde chart....This "mitten" will be my next start....It will be splendid once finished.... and, my challenge will be to crochet the top as shown.....This picture doesn't do the piece justice....More to come on this!....  And, see the hoop in the picture? I normally stitch in hand, but Marylin sent me this Sajou hoop...It is heaven......I've already tried it out on......

A wonderfully fun stitch.....It was what I stitched this week at nights and after work..... I plan on finishing it into a table scarf to use both at Christmas and throughout the winter....
 
I leave you with  blessings and prayers for any of you, or your families, who are struggling at this time....Whether it is from the horrible storm Sandy, hardships from this rough economy or stuggles within themselves.... Know you are not alone and many embrace you.....
