...something a little different....

Greetings friends &fellow stitchers~

Last month, when Sherry H asked me to make her a couple scissor mannequins, I shied away.... Having never made such a thing, I was reluctant to make her my guinea pig~ But, Sherry said she'd be willing to be the one I took a test drive with on this unique finish~ Here's what I mean.....

Scissor mannequin and matching needlebook~

Buttons, ribbon, lace, charms and nice fabrics....

The blue set is slightly varied.... Isn't the lace pretty?

I want to thank Sherry for pulling me out of my comfort zone~ I sure hope she enjoys them!! This project ended up being so much fun! I will definitely be making more~

I will leave you with a photo of what's been in my hoop these past days... Very poor photo, but you get the idea~

Enjoy the rest of your week!!

  4. I am the lucky recipient of these adorable scissor mannequins and needle books! I knew that Faye could do these for me. Not only did make them, she took it to the next level and I'm thrilled. One is for me and the other is for my wonderful stitchy sister-in-law. The hard part is deciding which one to keep. Thanks Faye!
