N Myrtle Beach snow~~

If you are like me, you are sick of seeing snow....But I could not resist showing you the snow we got this weekend while at the beach.... It hardly ever snows there! From my back porch...It looks so cold!
And this poor palm tree was nearly drooping to the ground before it all ended...
Sometimes snow does not fall uniformly on sand....
And the tide drags the snow right on out to sea! I will be remembering all this when it is hot and over 100 degrees this summer!! For those of you who went to the Pals reteat, I bet you never thought you would see snow like this at the beach!

Hopefully tomorrow I will have some stitching pictures....I am trying to finish Lady Quaker and have been doing some smalls for the spring fever I soon will be having!! Happy stitching from the Carolinas! Faye

  9. Those pictures are a first for me! I've never seen a picture of snow at the beach. I heard that on one day this weekend all 50 states had snow - except for Hawaii. None here. :(

  10. Snow at the beach - on a palm tree - it just doesn't seem right. I am sick of the heat here in Aust - wanta swap for a couple of weeks. I live near the beach too - 1 street away so you would feel right at home.....LOL

  12. Gee, we have only had to shovel our driveway 3 times and I think you have more snow on the beach than we have had all winter and we're up in ON. Canada. Go figure. Love the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
    Be always in stitches.

  14. Seeing snow on a palm tree is really strange! Who would think that would happen there. I keep telling myself that in about four weeks everything is going to start getting warmer! At least that's my hope.

  19. Your pictures are wonderful. I can't believe all that snow. When it snows here everything grinds to a halt! This year the snow was too fluffy! How can snow be too fluffy for goodness sake.
    Lots of Love
