Just a little progress.....

I have to confess I have fallen in love with designer, Barbara Bernard's patterns... Maybe it is because she incorporates Quaker designs or maybe it is because I love the unique finishing instructions she provides....None the less, I have begun her design, Quaker Motif Scissor Pocket , and I cannot put it down...

Quaker Motif Scissor Pocket
32 ct coffee dyed(by me) linen
GAST Apple Cider, Needle Necessities113 Slate Blue
(I am using floss I have on hand rather than that specified..)
I hope to finish the top motif this weekend and then focus my attention to my pile of Patriotic stitches that are patiently waiting for me in the craft room..... We will see!

Closer view of my work

By the way, the companion piece to this Quaker Scissor Pocket is the Anniversary Tool Pouch mentioned on my previous post.... Dont forget to post comments on that post for my giveaway I will be doing on Sunday May 30th..........It has been a fun year and I cannot wait to share some of my goodies with my friends!!

Enjoy your day everyone, Faye

  1. So beautiful! I have this chart but have yet to stitch it. I love your colors! Are they the ones called for on the chart or your own choice? And the tool pouch! Now I hope I win your giveaway more than ever! Is there a way to get the chart if I don't win? lol!
