Today, I had 2 orders to finish up for a couple ladies....One has asked to not post the photo since it is a gift for her sister that probably will be reading the blog....The other finish made me laugh....Check out this verse.............

I enjoyed sewing today....It really gives me great feeling of completion when those finished stitched pieces finally come together~~ I plan on using alot of my older patriotic ornies to decorate my craft room tree once I get set up....These will be put in another Patriotic basket for display...

And Yoo hoo on the new craft room. I know that getting the new space has been a touch time with your son moving to Charlotte - they grow up so fast and you wonder where the time went - but a new and improved space to work in is always a good thing.
I have given it thought to combine my current room with the DS's and make a HUGE room. But, I think there could be a problem --- it would be bigger than our living room! Oops.

BTW, my friend Carol, who reads blogs but doesn't comment on them (I don't think), sent me an e-mail after reading your last post with some patriotic finishes and said that she just loved everything you did, that the two of us need to get cracking. ReplyDeleteJust started following your blog! Love your patriotic finishes! You know that when you come to Charlotte you are just a few minutes away from the Stitch And Frame Shop in Rock Hill. That sounds like an excuse to visit your son more often in college! I too am becoming an empty nester this year! My daughter will be going to Salem Women's College in Winston Salem (Old Salem). It is exciting to think about some personal freedom from the daily parental duties!
