A couple finishes....

Greetings friends~


Wow~~ I let the time really slip from me! Between school starting back, finishing lots and lots for others and doing a little stitching fr myself, turnaround and its mid September.... Yikes!!

I do have a couple finishes to share... Country Stitches had a winner of a kit released this month... I fell in love with the soft colors... Forget Me Not Sampler is prettier in person than any photo can convey~

Wouldn't you agree that is piece is the perfect combination of pale blues and antiqued tans...... All the cotton overdyes and 35 ct creme linen were included.... I coffee stained the linen accordingly the easy included directions. Now, I just have to decide how to finish this goodie... Keep ya posted!

Additionally, I finished stitching my larger project.... Scarlet Letters And All Was For an Appil.... The colors are so vibrant and will be sure to make my sampler wall pop!!

I have contacted Scarlet Letter for a small red sampler to stitch next.... It should hold me until I can decide on my next large SL design....

Lastly, how totally excited do you think I got when I got my hands on this gorgeous sampler???!!!

Paulette Stewart of Plum Street Samplers & Antiques has been at it again... I have all my supplies gathered except for one floss.... So, soon this will be a Fall start for me~~

October brings a couple retreats for me and I am SO excited! And, from the look at what you guys are working on, I'm seeing beautiful ornaments and gifts to finish up in the craft room... Keep them coming!!!

    I absolutely love your SL finish. I adore them from afar but haven't taken the plunge. You know you are enabling me with your great finish. :)

    Love both of your finishes!!! I just got the WTN&T chart today,finally, and I will be starting it tomorrow. And your new PSS sampler will be another new start for me as soon as I get the colors figured out!! They are both just gorgeous!! Laura

    Wonderful finishes Faye - as always. I can't believe how quickly you got through the WTN&T piece. I haven't even touched mine yet. But I did pull out AAWFAA and started working on it again after seeing your finish on the SL blog. You're becoming an enabler! :-)

    Your AAWFAA finish is stunning Faye - Can't wait to see how you frame it. Yes I agree Paulette did have some great samplers for market - I added Yuletide Welcome to my stash pile and the Crowns might have to come too.
