Strawberry Hill project~

When Brenda S inquired about me finishing her Strawberry Hill Huswife by Country Stitches With thy Needle & Thread, I jumped at the chance~ you see Brenda and I think alike and often are stitching on the same designs, unbeknown got the other~ I know.... Kinda crazeee... She didn't know I had stitched up the same design this summer and had yet to sew mine up.... So, I finished up my Huswife when she mailed me hers.... It was fun!

...And the inside, laying flat...

...Top strawberry... Simple things are often the best.....
image

...Middle section has another hand stitched wool felt strawberry and vintage seam tape~ along with additional hand embroidery...
image

...and, the bottom inside section boasts a tiny homespun cushion, vintage safety pin and handmade strawberry emery... Little touches that count~
image

...all done times two~....

image

...including cotton crocheted lace with antique ivory buttons~
image

...both, nicely folded, tied together with the prettiest caramel vintage seam tape ribbon~ to hold special scissors and pins... I'd say they are twins..~

.... A beautiful heirloom piece for yourself... Or a gorgeous gift for a cherished friend... Call on me if I can be of help....

Always,

Faye
