As the Men's US Open and Women's US Open comes to town, I will be pausing for two short weeks from my finishing for a mini break.....We have been prepping and preparing for this huge event for quite some time....If you have an order in with me, I will be resuming soon~~
I did want to share a Patriotic finish today... I love Beggars 4th by Threadwork Primitivesand knew I wanted to make something special with it..... With my love for wools, antique grungy buttons, charms and vintage seam tape, here is what I came up with~

Red check homespun....wools... I just love things with a pocket~

...the Freedom charm was perfect on the wool heart...

...I also love to tie scissors and skeins of threads inside....

I really enjoy taking a pretty stitched piece and creating a unique accessory to incorporate into seasonal decor....
Leaving you with one of yesterday's day photos of the PutterBoy statue at Pinehurst No. 2......

ReplyDeleteFaye - This finish is just gorgeous! I'm stitching the same design right now, and am not sure I like the looks of using one thread on 35 count. Yours looks fuller. May I ask what you used?
