A winner..a deadline and a picture walk~

Greetings friends!!!!!!

School is back in session..... The students have returned from their summer break.... I'm tickled to be welcoming a new group of First Grade darlings into the classroom.....Lots of sweet personalities to get acquainted with....

Speaking if tickled.... I'd like to congratulate Annie as the Back~you~School Giveway winner!

Annie wrote:

"Those bags are wonderful! I'd love to win one, thanks for the chance:)

I also love that you're looking forward to school starting. I have some friends that are teachers that aren't so happy to see summer end.
I hope you have a wonderful school year! Your new students will be very lucky to have you."

Way to go Annie!!!!...... Please email me so I can get your address~~~~

A few folks have emailed me about my cutoff date for Christmas delivery..... If you have your stitches to me by Oct 1, I will have them back to you by Dec 10 or earlier..... Sound good??? I wanted to put that out there because it really disappoints me to have to turn anyone away.... Happy to help.....just email me, pm me on Facebook or comment on this post with your name and email....

  4. Beautiful work, so inspiring. Lucky first graders to have you as their teacher, they are so little and sweet. My little granddaughter started 1st grade last week and I know how important good teachers are.

  5. Faye - each of your finishes is SO lovely. I'm intrigued by the rope stitch in the Christmas pillow (Shepherd's Bush design?) Would you kindly share the name of that stitch? And the sewing pouch is just extraordinary.

  15. All of the stitching is so lovely but yor finishing really puts it over the top! A whole new level of beauty!

I always love to see what creative things you have done and you always have something so clever, unique and always beautiful! I'm curious about that rope stitch too. Is that what that stitch is called - "rope stitch"?

Happy Back to School for you and your lucky 1st graders.
