We often have to think outside of the box in our daily lives.... So, why not create a stitch into something unique? Stitch your pieces, but know they don’t ALL have to be finished into a pin pillow or ornament. Here is todays example………
Scattered Seeds Springtime Pinkeepe made into a foldover
Just a 6” x 8” foldover to hold business cards, packs of needles or used to display in a vignette on your bureau~~
Giving you an opportunity to add a small wool appliqué... I enjoy adding little surprises to my finishes~
I recently had a visit with a dear friend.... Waving at you Barbara McDonald! She reminded me of a couple of older pieces I had stitched and given to her many years ago.... It made me feel SO good to know she cherishes them and leaves them out to look at....
Sampler & Antique Quarterly Needlework magazine
Stitched in 1996
(Unsure of which issue, please let me know)
I love speciality stitches, so I had made this gift for Barbara as well...
Abide Thy Heart designed by Merry Cox
Volume 15~ Sampler & Antique Needlework
circa Summer 1999
I loved this piece so much.....
I really should stitch it again for myself~
Barbara still has the original pins and needle in it~
Thanks for visiting today~ Much love from this one year older Carolina Stitcher
