An update on the scissor pocket project

I am truly humbled by the many requests I have gotton to know more about Barbara Bernard and her cross stitch patterns.... If you email me I will be glad to provide you with her direct email if you are interested in purchasing any chart she offers....

The beauty of the patterns is that you can make it your own.....I am listing the colors I have chosen for the "Token of Love" Quaker Scissor Pocket by Barbara Bernard. I did this mostly because I am in a "waste not" state of mind and had all these beautiful threads already on hand.

GAST: Apple Cider, Old Red Paint
Weeks: Gold 2221
Crescent Colors: Ginger Snap
Needle Necessities:113 Slate Blue
Waterlilies: 106 Olive
Outline done in Kreinik Silk Mori 7024 Tan

So, there you have it~~~ I hope every one has a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend.. Have fun, get some much needed rest and remember all those who serve our country in this most Patriotic of holidays~~

Beatiful Faye! I just love your choice of colors. That is one reason I love quakers so much you can really make it your own with your color choices.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Your choice of colors is just exquisite! Thanks for sharing them with us! When I do mine, it would be good to do the same -- use from my stash. But I don't have your eye for color.....

Gorgeous colors! Love Quaker designs, where can I see Barbara's designs? Can I have her email contact?

I don't have much of an eye for color so I would probably shamelessly steal your choices. It's looks so pretty so far.

I've been trying to get this pattern for months. I went to her site and it wasn't listed, but her e-mail was. I've e-mailed her twice, once recently, and once several months ago and have received no response. I'm wondering if her e-mail has changed? If I could get that e-mail, I'd appreciate it.
Anyway, yours looks beautiful!

What a great way to use up those odd and end flosses. I have some that would be perfect for this that some friends have given me.

Faye, Can you please email me the information on the designer? I am not able to link with your email to obtain your address due to something about the default browser. My email is mrebec4@q.com.
Thanks.

I'd love her email and website address.

I totally rot at color selection. It's just something I angst over when I have to make my own decisions.
