My Giveaway and an update...

Thanks for all the prayers, emails and comments my friends! My MIL remains in the hospital after 2 longs weeks, but she did leave ICU yesterday. It will be a long haul, but as I have mentioned in the past, she is a 92 yr old fighter.... Thanks again for all the heartwarming prayers...I feel so blessed to be part of this wonderful blogging world and have friends that I can reach out too....

Now, as I have whiled away the hours at the hospital these days, I have come home at night noticing a pattern of sorts.....BIRDS..... Everything I have been working on has had a bird in it! AND..... Ironically enough, I have a duplicate of the beloved "Fredricka" chart by Carriage House Samplings and I thought what better way to honor this extra, but was to put it in the Followers Giveaway I would like to host!

So, the chart, flosses and linen will be sent to follower soon.....I will draw names on Friday Aug 6 so leave a comment (on this post only) and let me know what you are currently working on...I love to read the comments I get and would be interested to know what is keeping you busy these days.....

My Followers Giveaway package

Here's hoping everyone has a great weekend....Find something or someone to enjoy each day... Those are the memories you will hold on to forever!!

Oh what a neat giveaway.

What am I working on? Better to ask what am I not working on! Mirabilia's Rose of Sharon, Ink Circle's Cercle des Circles, Dragon Dream's The Runekeeper Saga, HAED's Autumn Winds... I think you get the picture. And no, this will not stop me from starting Fredricka if I win!

I would completely love to win this! I ordered 'Rika from Anita at the middle of June, but the distributor is out and waiting on a CHS shipment. I'm really hoping I won't miss out on a copy!

I'm currently working on personalizing the bottom part of Homespun Elegance's Delivering Autumn (And having a great time), which can be seen on my blog. :D It's also time for me to do the final section of the Autumn private exchange.

Glad to hear things are going well with your Dear MiL!

Faye, how wonderful to hear your MIL is out of the ICU unit - praying that her recovery will be quick.

I would love to be entered in your drawing!

What have I been up to? Homework, homework, homework. I am surrounded by charts (sheepish designs, a couple A&E's, and christmas ornaments) and fabric that I cannot wait to stitch, but my schoolwork is consuming all my time (sigh).

I am also finishing my MA thesis, so little stitching at the moment.

Great giveaway Faye. I know you have followed my blog and I check in on yours but I am not very good about leaving comments. I enjoy your blog and appreciate your comments on my blog. I hope you MIL is doing much better and will be home soon. I have been stitching for an upcoming retreat plus I have started the bad habit of quilting!!! Just what I needed was another hobby:) Now I need a job just to support my bad habits (addictions).

First of all, I'm glad to hear your MIL is out of ICU. I have 3 grandparents in their mid 90's and it is amazing how vibrant and full of life and love at their age. I hope I'm half as spry when I'm 90!

Now, onto stitching........what a sweet giveaway! That would be a great addition to my stash, as well as an early birthday gift! ;). As you may have seen on my blog, I'm currently working on Seaside Memories by The Sampler Girl. However, I'm hoping to finish it so that I can work on some exchange stitching.
Have a great weekend!

Your first bit of news is just THE best. I'm so happy for you that your dear MIL is out of ICU. I love your giveaway too and have now become a follower, though I have to be honest insofar as I only really look at the blogs on my bloglist, but you have been there for a very long time. You used to leave comments on my blog all the time but don't seem to anymore and I have missed you.

What am I working on? A Shepherds Bush kit that I can't tell you the title of because the woman I am stitching it for reads your blog too. But I love SB almost as much as CHS and BBD.

Please enter me for your drawing.
