I *heart* Valentines Day......

As a few of you might remember, my four foot Christmas tree stays up year round in my craft room.....

I thought it was time to get out the Valentine ornaments and dress it up for a few weeks.....

So, I layed a few of them out on the chair.....hmmmmm, many are old, but I still love their look.....

Up on the tree they went.....

I even moved my "pink" basket next to the tree....they are all beautiful shades of pinks.....very fitting for the season of amour..

And here is a look at things in the dark with just the white tree lights glowing.... This is my view from my stitch chair....

I hope everyone is enjoying their winter stitching projects....and I would like to take this time for a personal thank you for all the wonderful comments and words of inspiration you offer me..

Many stitching challenges have been made, both on personal levels and throughout various blogs....

Just enjoy your time sitting and stitching....

I know I do~~~

Great Valentine tree! I have hopes of making some valentine ornaments, but so far they are only in my thoughts and dreams. Hopefully seeing yours will give me inspiration.

Love the ornies. I don't have many valentines hearts. I will have to put those on the list. Hearts are my favorite shape. The tree is so pretty.

Beautiful pics, Faye! So inspiring.
I have not ever kept a tree up after Christmas but this year I kept a really old skinny silver one up in a guest bedroom/studio and it sparkles so much I might keep it up all year. Need to add Love Tokens I've been designing on it. It would be perfect.

Enjoy your evening.

You have a beautiful collection of amour! I love how they look on your tree. I think the older ones would reflect past stitching days and how your taste has changed and deserve a spotlight just as much as the new. What a fun idea your pink basket is!

I love each and every one of your "love" ornaments, Faye! Would you believe I don't have a single Valentine's piece! Every one that I've stitched, I've given away...

It must be so nice to sit and stitch in your craft room with the soft glow of your seasonal tree--how relaxing :)
