I wanted to show you my first project in the 2011 "Up for a challenge".... I started this pretty piece by City Stitcher back in 1990 (I am embarrased to have to admit that..) And, I have no idea why I shelved the project because I really do like it..............
So, here is where things have stood since then.....about half done....
And, here is where I stand as of an afternoons worth of stitching..... At least the alphabet is done now...... But, where is the pretty garden....?.... Will have to see if I get to that part tomorrow..
I see alot of people in blogland making committments to finish WIP's this year....So, here's to everyone's accomplishments!!!
Happy Stitching,
Faye

That's quite a good start-continuation! It's going to be lovely finished.
Oh, that really is a pretty stitch! Good for you for being able to find all the parts of it. I cannibalize things, unfortunately, so when I take them out, parts are missing!
Gorgeous! I love the font of the alphabet.
Wow!!!!! This is really a gorgeous piece!!! Will be following along.....
Really pretty colors!!! Good for you for picking it back up!
This is beautiful, and I look forward to your next progress photo! Happy New Year!
Lovely progress.
Oh, that is really a lovely piece. Nice progress on it too. It is going to be beautiful!
Such pretty colours! This is a really lovely stitch and I look forward to seeing more of it.
What a great project! I love City Stitcher's designs. I don't think I'd noticed this sampler before--it's gorgeous! Good luck with your WIPs, Faye!
You'll have this finished in no time! Love the colors!

Very pretty Faye!
What a beautiful sampler. I love the pastel colors. You made great progress.
That is pretty Faye. I love the turquoise color.
Pretty - and amen to all of our accomplishments this year! I plan on finish-finishing things as I have many, many to do in my basket. A challenge itself, since I love to stitch things and am not real good at finish-finishing things!
Good luck with your WIPs this year! This is a really pretty design. Looking forward to seeing more of it.
This is so pretty! I really should do that challenge as well, but I'm not. lol! I love your first project. I'll enjoy watching you as you progress through your 15 WIPs!
What a pretty piece. Love the colors in it. I love seeing the older pieces people are working on. And I better go get some work done on mine. :)
I have a City Stitcher chart on my CJC15. I start it today, in fact. Very different from yours but just as old. :)
You made some great progress! I'm not familiar with this project and am looking forward to seeing it unfold on your blog.
Oh my..I though I was the only one on the planet who had stitched Nabby's Garden!! I love it to this day. Happy New Year, Faye! I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful finishes.
1990? (giggle) coming along quite nicely though, pretty colors in this one. Congrats on your git 'er done attitude and HNY!
Beautiful project;love the colors. I've seen many in the Challenge, working on some old WIP's, that were packed away for reasons forgotten. Faye, I know you'll have a wonderful sense of accomplishment, once Nabby's Garden is complete.
Happy stitching!
Great job! Hope you have a very stitchy day.
Hmmm. I have that pattern too, but never started it. You are making great progress. I am also hoping to get more of my old projects done. I just completed my first project of the year this morning, a doll quilt. I feel good about that.
Beautiful Faye. I really like it. x
Nice progress! Very pretty and muted colours.
This is a sweet piece! I really love the colors!
I don't know this piece, Faye, but it's going to be beautiful. Here's hoping we see it all done this year. I love the colors!

Beautiful piece!! Hope you get it finished this year :)
That is going to be a very pretty piece! Congratulations on your progress, and good luck in finishing those WIP's!
Great progress Faye. Good luck in finishing your WIPs - I hope to finish some too!
Happy New Year!
Your sampler is so pretty. I love the colors. Isn't it funny how sometimes we pull out a WIP and wonder why we ever put it away to begin with?
Good luck to you in finishing your WIP's. I will be cheering for you:)))
Great progress for one afternoon.
Keep on stitchin....
Your progress is perfect, Faye....the colors are so soft and pretty in this one. And I have to admit I have never seen this particular sampler before, so I will be waiting patiently for your next update! It will be a bit of an unveiling for me at least, to see the whole piece!!
You're making wonderful progress Faye, keep it up! I know what you mean, this year seems to be all about finishing old projects and sorting through stash. Good luck with all your stitchy plans!
A pretty piece to start off your project challenge.
