My Adam and Eve's...and finishes~~~

Greetings all!!!  Guess I have been away a little too long....Blogger has switched me up for some reason, so please bear with me....

First off, I am so, so loving my Adam and Eve reproduction sampler....BUT, when I saw THIS smaller Adam and Eve on Vonna's blog, I knew I would have to stitch it up....
So, multi-tasking A & E's.....
Adam and Eve
Little House Needleworks
32 ct Vintage Navy Bean
specified overdye threads
(Poor old Adam has a "dear in the headlights" look on his face!)

And, I continue to work on my reproduction Adam and Eve Sampler SAL with Terri and Marylin....Those ladies are so dedicated, that my measely progress looks kinda pitiful next to theirs...Ahh..But, its all about enjoying the ride...no?....  Here is my progress on this graceful sampler....
Adam and Eve Reproduction Sampler
Cross Stitch and Needlework Magazine
May 2009 issue
36 ct linen, Terri's overdye conversion

(Adam and Eve have already turned gray haired evidently!!)

And, of course, I completed my June CCN cottage.... I did omit the flying daisies however....

June Cottage
Country Cottage Needleworks
36 ct exemplar, specified threads

Lastly, I want to leave you with a little tease.....
Monday I finished sewing up one of my recently stitched items.... AND, as soon as I was done, it jumped in a  mailing envelope  and informed me it was flying away for a weeks vacation to Terre Haute, Indiana!!! Imagine the look on my face!!~~~~But, its only a one week vacation stay, so, I suppose I can live with it.... tee-hee...(More on this in my next post....)

In the meantime, here are a couple snaps to tease you with....

I fell in love with Barbara Brackman's 1862 Battle Hymn fabric....
LOVE those flags!!!

Here's hoping your summer days are peaceful and filled with linen and threads.....

Love your A & E stitches - I've thought I might tackle th LHN one as it is the right size for me.

Oh your LHN A&E is soo stinking cute! I think that I need to get that one. I have some small spaces to fill on my sampler wall.

And your progress on your SAL with the other girls looks great, but I wouldn't care if you're behind. You have so many other wonderful things going on!

Awesome A&E finish, Faye! Your A&E repro is looking good. I see you kept their funky blue hair! I changed mine to brown - more conventional I guess but lots less fun!
Can't wait to see more on your teaser!

That is such a cute A+E by LHN! As if I don't have enough A+E lining up waiting to be stitched too! I love the piece you are stitching for the SAL - so cute and colourful!

Looking forward to seeing the sneak peek unfold!

Beautiful as always Faye!! And I am in the same boat with my SAL, my SAL partner is SOOOOO far ahead of me, I feel like I will never catch up (actually come to think of it, I probably won't! LOL) I think it's fun just to be stitching "with" someone else! Joyful stitching!
