I can explain......

Greetings all!!!!! Hoping your weekend was awesome.... As we ready ourselves for the second episode of Downton Abby, I thought I'd sneak in a quick post....
No work was devoted to Rebecca Robinson what so ever this week... What????? ... I can explain.... A fellow stitching friend had posted pictures of her awesome finish of Primitive Traditions , Spectacle Pocket....and, when I saw it, well....It just SPOKE to me....unique, perfect colors and a mid-size project.... Hmmm... Let me just say, once I started, I could not put it down!!!!

Plus, when I saw that I had the recommended 40 count Lakeside Pear linen along with all the npi's on hand, double reason to stitch this baby on up....

I just love a design that has a house in it....

and a bird or two.....

Are you thinking what I'm thinking to use as the lining to this Spectacles Case....?

I'm thinking so.......
Have a great everyone.......
Faye

Love it! I have this chart and several others! They "call" to me every now and again! Sometimes, you just have to answer the call;)

Yeah, when you have the linen AND all the NPIs on hand to stitch the design, it's pretty much a sign from the stitching gods that you need to stitch it. ;) Beautiful finish!! I can't wait to see your finishing.

Oh, don't you love Downton Abbey, Faye? I've watched the first two seasons twice and am thoroughly enjoying Season Three--poor Edith, will she ever find happiness?

Love your new finish--the case for your glasses will be just lovely!

Looking for pattern from Barbara Bernard. It is called Quaker motif scissor pocket. Someone told me she is. In your stitching group.
Could you please help me? Do you know Barbara?

Thank you for helping me.
