*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Finally! I ***think*** we going to kick off springtime here in the Carolinas~~ Its warming up some and it's time to show you a few recent creations that will surely remind of sunnier days ahead.... enjoy~~
Easter Parade by With thy Needle & Thread
I rouched a wider (5/8") ribbon for the edging.... I love the extra pop of color it gives~
Im pretty sure this customer stitched on a 40 ct linen.... Called for overdyed threads...
Happy Spring by Snowflower Diaries.... A freebie design... I made this one into a thin padded pillow to out in sweet childs Easter Egg basket~~
Easter Parade by With thy Needle & Thread..... I made a large pillow~
A simple cotton lace is sewn on each end of the pillow.... Allowing no distractions from this beautifully stitched design....
On a side note to my cross stitch finishing, I thought I'd share a few framed pieces I have hung in our home..... Just picked up from the framers.....I've started a Scarlet Letter Sampler area in the dining room....
From left to right....And All was for an Appil.....Rebecca Robinson....Margaret Randolph
And in my breakfast nook....over the pie safe...
I knew once I had seen this design, I'd have to stitch it! It's Land of the Free by Willow Hill Samplings.... Look ***here*** to see where I was ........
Well..... Here's hoping your weekend is great! Keep stitching and enjoying the March Madness~~

March Madness.....
~~~Greetings friends!~~~
.... I've starting to see all kinds of cross stitching come into my craftroom for finishing.... But, as they say, "variety is the spice of life!".... I've said it before and I'll say it again, as a needlework finisher, I consider myself very lucky! I get to use my creativity by taking your pieces of stitched linen and turning them into decorative and serviceable items.... Take a look at some of the latest goodies that were created in the Carolina Stitcher craftroom~
After taking the trip of a lifetime to Paris in 2014, this fellow stitcher stitched several French inspired designs.....
I used subtle embellishments to compliment her handiwork....
A sizable hand painted box to hold very special French momentos~ I combined various red and black paints to get this special red....
Hand made cording will usually "frame in" a stitched piece nicely when mounted on a box top.....
I will put a fabric covered padded bottom insert inside so to cushion any fragile items that are being stored.....
The pretty scissors in this design caught my eye.... I'm partial to monochrome stitches also.....
Spring themed pin pillows are always popular finishes.....
Aren't we all ready for Winter to be done?
Tiny yellow lace makes the daisies come to life~
Patriotic stitches are always fun to create....
Threadwork Primitives
Chessie & Me Designs....
Plum Street Samplers
Fully lined stockings.....with a special attached charm~
La-D-Da freebie....
Thanks to all of you who continue to buy my project bags and project sewing rolls....
12 x 15" will hold all your supplies for a good size project... Neat and tidy!
A matching project roll allows you to safely roll up your linen... Safe from spills, wrinkles or even your pet...❤️
Several of you send me 3 Fall or Christmas stitches every other month to finish... Your wooden display bowls will be overflowing with goodness come October~
I love stitching the Blanket stitch along the edges.....nothing flashy....
white Pumpkin.....
...antique bone buttons sewn on pleated green ticking on the back.....
Large seasonal pillows with piped edging....
Hard to believe it's mid-week already!! Keep your hearts happy & your hands busy stitching~
Always,
Faye
