Tonight's picture walk....

Greetings friends and fellow Stitcher's.....

I hope your Easter was good, restful and filled with making memories.... I have had an opportunity to sew up a few finishes for others and myself.... I though got I'd share them with you tonight....

Blackbird Designs~ Autumn Tulip
Stitch is Mounted on painted box lid

Custom cording always pulls things together I feel....

Fabric covered padded bottom edged in cording

Coordinating pincushion

A nice project for my customer to treasure forever~

Homespun Elegance~ Spring Eggs V

Edged with hand dyed creme trims....

Shepherd's Bush

Tiny "x's" edge the design while small peeks of the hand dyed rik-rack edge the small pillow~

An Easter collection to enjoy~

Carolina Stitcher project rolls have been coming out of the craftroom also...

19" and 12" sizes are now available...

Made to keep the linen free of getting soiled or wrinkled... Sure does beat wadding up your project in a plastic bag... Right???

My sweet friend, Theresa Meloon of Dulaney Woods, has published her first cross stitch design, Spring Sampler Pinkeepe Drum...I made the stitch into a Carolina Stitcher project bag so I could enjoy it daily... You can find this inaugural design on Etsy....

I will sign off with a few more bags.... I enjoy making them and they do help keep you organized...

I made this bag using last years freebie chart to commemorate attending the Primitive Stitcher's Society Retreat in Williamsburg VA..... I am now 4 short days away from attending this years retreat which is being held in Atlanta GA.... Needless to say I'm on cloud 9. Not only will I be attending as a Vendor in the Merchandise Mall, but I will be an instructor teaching a class making a wool strawberry~ I'm truly honored along with being totally thrilled.... I should have lots and lots of photos to share soon~ If you are attending, I look forward to meeting you!!

Keep on stitching,

Faye

What gorgeous finishes! I am sorry I won't be at the retreat but I look forward to seeing pictures and posts from this amazing event. It's wonderful that you are teaching how to make a strawberry. I know that anyone would be thrilled to take a class from you! (I think you should also do a class on how you insert your rick rack trim as you can never see the joining of the ends!)
Have a great time and thanks as always for sharing your beautiful work.

Faye! That box! I really enjoyed the little one I just finished and now I see this one with such a great design. The little pincushion inside, just too sweet. Great job on all of them.

So so beautiful, it's the tiny details you add like the tiny xs around the seam ad the handmade cording that make such a difference. Truly inspiring. Hope you have a wonderful time at the retreat, I'm sure it will be a huge success.

They are all truly beautiful. As soon as I get off my butt and start to stitch again I will send you mine to finish from cold, windy (blew down my back fence last night), doesn't know what it wants to do weather England.

Your box finish is beautiful. I love the added pincushion.
Those eggs are wonderful. Great idea to use ric rac vs cording.
Your many project bags are always a treat to see!
Wish that I was in attendance in GA. Hope that you are enjoying it.

Faye, your work is fabulous as always! You have finished many things for me and they have always been perfect! I sent you an email about finishing some ornaments and a couple of stockings. Let me know if you didn't get it and I'll resend it. Thank you so so much!
