Tonight's picture walk...

All I can say is "Wow!"..... If been a blissful state of a whirlwind friends...... Between it being the end of the school year and a few retirement celebrations.... Lets just say its been very busy around my little corner of the world! Its a bitter sweet feeling knowing I have taught in the classrooms of Southern Pines Primary for the last time after so, so many years! But, with retirement from education affords me the opportunity to spend more time on my Carolina Stitcher business and you guys~ By late 2017 I hope to be offering faster finishing timelines and offering more Carolina Stitcher products~ More to come!!   For now, I will offer this picture walk showcasing your beautiful stitching coupled with my finishing skills.... Congratulations. I just celebrated my three year mark from teaching. It took a while to schedule my days and turn my old life off if I am real honest. I am loving retirement now except for the paycheck:) Can't wait to see what you do with Carolina Stitcher.

Aah I'm sure it was a bittersweet moment to teach your last day. Congratulations on your successful career in teaching. You made a huge difference in so many young lives. I retired from teaching 17 years ago after being on the job for 28 years. Your retirement is well-deserved, and the future for Carolina Stitcher is so exciting and limitless. Just LOVE the gorgeous finishes for Land of Liberty and Pears and Strawberries!

Hi Faye--Belated HAPPY RETIREMENT!! I'll bet the decision was not an easy one, but I think we just know when it is time. I am getting closer and closer to that time myself--will decide in September if I'm staying on another year or retiring in October...

You will have lots of extra hours for those beautiful creations of your--can't wait to see springs from your needle :) Best wishes in this new chapter of life!
