It never hurts to ask~~~

I am feeling so reverent today.....9-11 has been on my mind almost constantly today.... Wow, 9 years ago our world in the US was rocked and look how things have changed since then.... I think we should all pause a moment today to remember those fallen.

I do have some good news to share....I stopped by one of our local "treasure find" stores this afternoon only to spot 4, count them, 4 gorgeous flower frogs!!! I have been scouring my local area for glass flower frogs for about 2 years now and then today, out of the blue, I find 4 of them!! AND, I wouldnt have known about them at all if I hadn't paused at the counter as I was leaving and asked the lady if they had any........ so, now they are mine~~~~

As you can see, I don't have the collection of scissors I hope to have one day...but, now that I have the frogs, I can focus on yet another thing to collect...more scissors~~~

That's it for me....I am going to finish up at MIL's house tomorrow and turn in the keys to her condo.....All I can say is thank goodness for storage facilities!!!

Take care, Faye

Well, I haven't found any in my area, but try to look around when I do have a moment or two to visit our thrift/antique shops. I don't tend to do much shopping though as I really detest it, LOL...go figure, a female who hates to shop.

You have found some beauties!

Love those frogs - especially that green one!

I remember exactly where I was 9 years ago today. My boy's baseball teams had moments of silence before their games today. It still easily brings tear to my eyes.

I have a collection of flower frogs too! Aren't they fun to collect? Do you also collect metal ones?

Nine years and it's still difficult to believe.

I have also thought of 911 several times today. I remember what I was doing when it all happened.
Is that a red flower frog? I've never seen one like that. Very lucky girl to have found them! They are gorgeous.

What a find, you lucky gal! I have yet to come across one, but know that my day is coming :-)

I'm with you, look how much things have changed, the world has changed, since 9-11-01. Wow. I promised, along with millions of others, that day and afterwards, to NEVER forget, and I won't. I watch the coverage, listen to the 911 calls, all of it, even though it's sickening and makes my throat close up...because I never want to forget those that died, or their families. When we start focusing on other things on this day, instead of what happened to the thousands that died, then I think the terrorists have won.

Have you had a look at Anita's scissor offerings? My favorite--so drool-worthy!

I have paused today to remember and watched more than a little of the History channel's coverage.

Congratulations on your wonderful frogs. I see more scissors in your future. :o)

Wow! Lucky you. I am hoping to find just one and you hit the mother lode. lol.

It certainly doesn't seem like 9 years.

Funny how someone needed to part with four, and someone else needed one... How 'bout that green one. I've seen pink and the carnival champeign color, but not green. Great find! Congrats! Yes, do take a look at Anita's site.
