Hippity hop......

Hello all from a warm and sunny North Carolina~~

Hoping everyone is getting used to their "spring-fever" symptoms..
I know it has been crazy warm here...Just wondering if it will last...

Wanted to show you a little bit of what I've been up to last week and weekend.....

Stepping out of the box and tried my hand at some wool applique...
Addictive!!

This was a kit I bought at the Quilt Show in Sanford back in January....Auntie Ju's Quilt Shoppe was one of the most popular and well stocked vendors there.... Its taken this long to work my nerve up to try it.....It sure was fun and much quicker than cross stitching..... Now, I want to do another!

I have been finishing quite a few orders for customers....It is really fun to get to see everyone's different styles and themes in our world of stitching...I have finished everything from ornaments to prim pinpillows to small pouches ....I particularly fell in love with this one....And, the owner was tickled pink~~

You will recognize this as the "Sew a Brown Bunny" of istitch....I couldn't help but vision it as a primish pouch...That mini-check in the brown just made the bunny hop~~~

So, with all these springtime bunnies hopping around, I guess I have officially set my sights on spring!!

Have a great week everyone~~

Faye, your wool applique is lovely! I also want to try applique, in addition to punchneedle, rug hooking, quilting, etc. etc. The little zippered bag is too, too cute! Love the idea of transforming cross projects into items we can use everyday. Your finishings are always fabulous!

Faye,

I love the wool applique! It's gorgeous. Do you have a link to that particular kit?

Great finish. You should post pictures of the butterfly pouches you made for me that I use all the time. They are so pretty and the butterfly charm you put on the big one is perfect! Definitely an amazing finish on that one above!

I have a couple of these candle mat kits but have not started them yet...so they are easy? Your finishing and the pouches are so cute...you do good work. Can't wait to see your drum finishes. Lucky you with the items you received...to bad you didn't hit that mega millions that so many states had up for grabs!
