A Back~to~School Giveaway~ Organizing & such.......

Hello my friends and happy Monday..... My last Monday before returning to school.... I'm getting excited though about greeting my group of First Grade darlings back on Aug 25..... Even after all these years, I still have a burst of adrenaline and excitement anticipating which precious children will be placed in my classroom.. In my care for the next 10 months... To nurture, lead and educate.... It's all so exciting for parents, students and staff!

Today, I want to announce a my Back~to~School Giveaway..... No, it won't be school supplies! Rather, a Carolina Stitcher project bag to help YOU organize yourself with your projects.... And, of course, there could be an added goodie or two....... IF you are interested, please comment on this blogpost (Facebook friends on today's FB post..), and you'll be entered! I'll do Random Generator on Aug 25 to pick the winner.... So, good luck!

Additionally, I'd like to share a few project bags that have left my sewing room.....headed back to their rightful owner as they get a jump on organizing their stitch projects... And, of course, with gift giving season nearing, I'm filling lots of requests for bags to give as gifts....

7 x 9" bag..all of my bags are lined, with French seams and zippered with charm...( I think was a Heartstrings Samplery freebie chart...)......(16.00)

Queen Bee fabric sets....

12 x 15" bag and 7 x 9" bag made as a set.... 42.00 plus postage/set.... I have enough fabric for about 7 more sets of this ever popular fabric... It's one of my favorites!

I even made a larger shoulder bag for a sweet lady.... Approximately 15 x 18" with outside zippered section, outside pocket and shoulder straps.... Please email me for your pricing on this bag... It is glorious!

Can you tell how much I love making these Carolina Stitcher bags????

More of the 12 x 15" bags......(26.00 plus postage)

And, I can insert about anything on the front of your bag~~~

I hope you'll participate in the giveaway!!!! ...... I like sharing and since I'm gearing up for school, you can gear up to get organized~

Enjoy your day all....

Faye

I look forward to seeing how you have taken a cross stitch project and with your talent made it a one-of-a-kind treasure. Your choice of fabrics is perfection. Your project bags are beautiful. I would love to own one to put my cross stitch projects into, many of which I am working on. I am also so happy to see how you inspire little minds. My granddaughter starts 1st grade next week and her little sister starts VPK (a voluntary prekindergarten program here in Florida). I appreciate all the love and care teachers give their little students. As a result, my granddaughters are eager to start school. My daughter (their mom) is in an Early Childhood Bachelors Program because loves children.

My baby, the last of three, returns to school this year as a junior! I have become acutely aware this year that we will only be "school supply shopping" maybe one more time before she too heads off to college! I will always associate the month of August with the smell of a fresh box of crayons and stack of freshly sharpened pencils!
I so admire your work as well and your ability to personalize needlework so beautifully! I hope to one day have one of your creations made with my own needlework! If only, I could decide upon which completed project would be perfect! Thank you for sharing your art with us!

I'll bet the students are so tickled when they hear that "Miss Faye" will be their teacher! It must be a truly wonderful feeling to watch them grown throughout that very important year, Faye. My son's girlfriend just got her first teaching job as a 4th grade teacher in the Georgetown DC public schools--she is beyond thrilled and can't wait to begin later this month.

Your bags are so gorgeous, but I will sit this giveaway out as you were already so kind to gift me with my very own blue, white, and yellow bag. I know whoever wins will be smiling from ear to ear.

Best wishes for another memorable school year!

Faye, Your work is so wonderful! I dream of having one of your project bags some day! I work at the YMCA and have the joy of working with little kids. With all the sad & bad in the world I find that children give me hope & strength to keep doing what I do. They teach me everyday to not worry about the little things and enjoy the moment. I try to give them a positive experience in hope that they will leave feeling better then when they came and enough good energy to get them through any bad & sad they encounter. They all call me Grandma Kris(LOL). We are lucky women to have these jobs. Krissy B.

Please enter me into your drawing. I wish you much joy, happiness and success as another school year starts. As talented as you are with needle and thread, I suspect your real talent lies in making each one of your little students feel loved and special. You seem like such a caring person who loves her job. Thank you for that.

I hope you have a good start to your school year! Mine won't start for a few more weeks, as our kids don't come back until the day after Labor Day. It's so nice to have something like needlework to focus on and relax after the end of a busy day with teenagers!

Can't believe that summer is almost over and it's back to school! We start back on the 13th and hopefully it will cool down some. I am going to miss my kiddos (two oldest go back to college on the 24th) when they go. Your projects are always beautiful!

Seems like we hear so much negative about schools and teachers in the news now. It is great to hear a teacher talk about getting excited about their kids and the new school year! Your bags are so wonderful. I would love to win!

Hello Faye, from another Faye. I'm on the opposite coast in Washington state. I am a volunteer for an after-school tutoring program for children struggling in school, many who are ESL students. It's called KidReach. I'd love to be the lucky recipient of one of your beautiful works of art. Many blessings for the upcoming school year!
