This is my personal ongoing stitch.... As I focus on Quaker Designs in 2017, I selected Sarah Tatum Sampler to be my next stitch.... This sampler is spell binding! I am showing you how much I accomplished in the month of February.... 40 count Light Exempler Linen using avas and npi silks as called for.... I'm pretty busy, but am challenging myself to be deligent throughout March on this piece.... I absolutely love it~
Finally, with total excitement in my voice, I'm retiring as an educator at the end of this school year!! I've weighed all my options, have researched and done my homework, talked things over with my boys and prayed about it long and hard.... So, yes! Effective mid June, I will be then focusing all my time and energy on Carolina Stitcher~ I am so, so, SO excited!!
More to come, so in the meantime, be joyful, peaceful and happily stitching your treasures~
Always,
Faye

All of the finishing is just wonderful, and I'm crazy about your big Quaker piece, Sis! Most of all, I am overjoyed thinking that in only a few short months you will be retired and free to stitch & finish to your sweet heart's content! :) <3
Congrats on your job change - how fun!!!!!
Faye, Sarah Tatum is looking good. Such gorgeous colors! Your finishing fingers have been busy. Congratulations and best wishes on your upcoming retirement from teaching! You are going to thoroughly enjoy retirement.
Congratulations on your coming retirement! Your finishing work is just Amazing!😉
Once again, Faye, you have delighted us with your finishes. I especially love the Primitive project bag, and the delicate fabrics and ruching you added to the Shepherd's Bush design. I retired from 28 years of high school teaching in 2000. Welcome, Sister!
Yay Faye!! I'm so happy for you! All your finishes are beautiful and Sarah Tatum is gorgeous!!
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. I retired from teaching in June of 2014. It was hard to turn off the switch of teaching. I didn't really feel retired to well in the fall. On the first day the teachers went back to work, I purposely went to the beach just because I could. Your finishes are amazing!!!
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement! What a blessed career you have had!
Your finishes are adorable. How do we contact you about finishing? I am going to be doing some smalls soon.
Your finishing is just amazing. Love it all.
Beautiful Finishes. Each one Always so different. Congrats on your upcoming 2017 retirement

That old man winter surely snuck in and gave us a chill, didn't he? This rainy, windy Monday seems even colder to me! Your finishes are lovely, as always! Got my Prim Stitcher stitched and ready for your magic touch! Isn't the time flying? How many? Three months? Hugs! ❣️
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. How in the world do you manage to get so many finishes done for others and still work full time? I can't even get my own items finished. Thanks for another pretty picture walk.
Faye gorgeous finishes as always. We have all come to expect these delights but they still give us each so much pleasure each time we see them. I love your project bags and I too really love how you finished the little SB piece. Congratulations on your retirement. I know it was well earned. I truly can't wait to see what all you have in store for us when you give all your time to Carolina Stitcher. Best wishes. RJ

Beautiful finishes (as always) - and congrats on the retirement decision!
Love all the ways you finish the beautiful projects.
Conrats on your retirement , I have never looked back I love retirment .
I retired from teaching almost 3 years ago and have yet to get bored. You will love it!
Beautiful finishing, Faye, but even more beautiful news about your retirment!! And to have your finishing business to keep you busy is perfect! I've been thinking more and more about retiring, too, as I lost a friend last week very suddenly and it really hits home that you never know what lies ahead. I do love my job, but am thinking I need to make a change within a year or two :) Anyway--a big congratulations to you!
Your finishing inspires me to achieve something similar with my own projects.
Congratulations on your forthcoming retirement. I imagine that you will find yourself so busy that you'll wonder how you found time to work.
Congratulations Faye. I am so happy for you. Retirement is the best! :) Cathryn
Faye, congratulation on the retirement. Once you retire you will find there is fun time just for you, it is wonderful. You will be so busy and you will enjoy it all. The best part is staying up late ( like a kid on vacation) and when it snows like today you do not have to go to work.
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement!
So many beautiful things! Congratulations on the upcoming retirement. I was an educator too and I missed it briefly. :) blessings, marlene
Congratulations on your retirement. Your finishes are beautiful.
I'm so happy for you Faye and for all of us who "need" you in your new adventure as a full time finisher. I know you have worked long and hard as a teacher and have enjoyed it but it's time to embark on a new chapter. Love the finishes you've shown here today. Sarah Tatum is gorgeous! Several friends from my former sampler guild did Sarah and many other Needleprint Ackworth Quakers. I have some started and who knows if they'll ever be finished. Wouldn't we all love to know the mystery of those quaker medallions and why they stitched so many of them. Hugs and happiness Mel
Your finishes are BEAUTIFUL. Sarah Tatum is gorgeous. I've only ever seen the overall design on the Scarlet Letter--I love it more now that I've seen your's! I've never seen Adam & Eve on the Farm, so sweet! Stacy Nash is one of my favorites.
Faye, Congratulations on your retirement!! It is always bittersweet to leave one chapter in your life but I have a feeling you are going to love being a retired lady.
I cannot wait to see what is in store for Carolina Stitcher!!! Enjoy, enjoy!!! Mary
