Hello my friends!!
The Men's USOpen and Women's USOpen have pulled out of town....Things have slowed back down to our small town pace..... Finally! When the Pinehurst/ Southern Pines townships go from about 24,000 people to approximately 450,000 people.....well, let's just say it's a sight to see~ We embrace the golf business and everything it brings to our community, but having things trickle back down to the sleepy little town we are is nice to see...
I have a few finishes from a couple weeks ago to share.... I'll let the photos speak for themselves~
LittleHouse Needleworks~ Daisy Cottage
With thy Needle & Thread~ Sweet Violet
....all the right shades of lavender wools.... And a special bee~
....I love the details....
... Project bags galore!!!
... Things have begun humming in my craft room again..... I hope all of you are enjoying your stitches and these dog days of summer~
Smiles.....

... Busy times....
Greetings from the heart of golf country~
As the Men's US Open and Women's US Open comes to town, I will be pausing for two short weeks from my finishing for a mini break.....We have been prepping and preparing for this huge event for quite some time....If you have an order in with me, I will be resuming soon~~
I did want to share a Patriotic finish today... I love Beggars 4th by Threadwork Primitivesand knew I wanted to make something special with it..... With my love for wools, antique grungy buttons, charms and vintage seam tape, here is what I came up with~
Red check homespun....wools... I just love things with a pocket~
...the Freedom charm was perfect on the wool heart...
...I also love to tie scissors and skeins of threads inside....
I really enjoy taking a pretty stitched piece and creating a unique accessory to incorporate into seasonal decor....
Leaving you with one of yesterday's day photos of the PutterBoy statue at Pinehurst No. 2......
Enjoy your day~
