25 ct white Lugana
Raspberry Sherbert Wildflowers thread
DMC white perle cotton
So, now I will have to decide how I am going to finish this piece...I hope to keep it handy and refer back to some of the stitches so I can incorporate a couple of the specialty stitches in some cross stitch projects...
Oh, I wanted to shout out to any of you who might be in vicinity of Manning SC on March 12..Amy is having another gathering at the French Hen... It is a very good place to sit and eat....sit and stitch...or both!! Contact her at amycspals@yahoo.com if you are interested in attending!!
Well, time to get busy in the kitchen....Suppertime soon~~
Happy stitching everyone!!

Your piece is stunning Faye. Was it nerve-racking to cut those threads? It truly is beautiful though. I did one of Emie Bishop's pieces when I was first married and remember how I sweated every time I had to cut a thread. I don't think that I could do it again to save my soul.
Very nice piece. You do excellent work! It is fun to try something different.
WOW it is really beautiful .. well done on doing this and I hope you really enjoyed it .. I find it therapeutic reweaving threads back in :) love mouse xxx
Beautiful work Faye. I hope you had fun with the pulled threads, it is nerve racking sometimes. Think twice, cut once... Congratulations on a job very well done. Can't wait to see how you choose to finish this one off...
Be always in stitches.
Faye, You did a beautiful job. :)
Faye, this is beautiful. Love your close up photo.

Faye, you did beautifully on you cut work project. Would never have known this was a first for you, Awesome!! I love cutwork & drawn thread. Something different to add to another project, I love to swap out stitches.
Ok, that is totally awesome! Good for you for going out of your comfort zone! It's beautiful work! I'd like to learn such work someday too. We'll see. Congratulations -- wonderful stuff!
Looks beautiful! Well done. It is a bit scary cutting the threads but I enjoy making the stitches & re weaving the threads. have fun with it!

Oh my gosh, Faye! That turned out absolutely stunning. I am so proud of you, gf! I love the bit of color added to it - really pretty!
A gorgeous finished piece of stitching.
This is so beautiful Faye!! It looks so difficult and complicated but oh my gosh...amazing!!
Wow, this is an incredible piece of cutwork especially when you consider you're just a beginner! The idea of doing this scares the heck out of me.
Great finished piece and I love your color choice on this one too. I did a piecea long while back from one of the out of print magazines and loved the learning process. I had to do it on my own -- no local classes. I enjoyed it though and I didn't find it difficult at all. It is still one of my most favorite pieces. I will see about trying to get a photo added to my blog in case you want to look at it. If I can I'll do that before the end of April. You did a great job and I encourage you to try even more stitches, it is a marvelous way to embellish linens, and add a lacy delicate look to a sampler. I'm also glad to see that you gave it a try -- some people just don't want to experiment because they think it will be too hard, and I am glad you didn't let it scare you :-).... I am really enjoying your projects on this blog!
very pretty Faye...
