***Edited to show my basket of Strength and Hope as requested....***

Today was rainy, cold and dreary...but, I tried to make the best of it....I had found this little freebie that Sandy had put on her blog.........I changed up the colors because I am in a "red" mood...so, I used Victorian Motto red and green along with a few seed beads.....Here is my interpretation of the chart....It is headed out the door tomorrow to a dear friend....
And recently I was gifted this darling pillow for my "Hope and Strength" basket... Many of you know Linda P and know she is an absolute hoot...But, behind all that wit is a heart of gold...Thanks so much Linda for being so generous.... Here is the front...

On the back, not only did she include the year 2010...but, she put 4 initials to honor 4 good friends...Edna, Barbara, Linda and Faye....along with that darling breast cancer awareness button this little pillow is just perfect!~

Here's hoping everyone has a great week! I have morning duty all week which means standing on a cold sidewalk in the elements helping little darlings out of their cars as they arrive to school... Cross your fingers the weather improves for me~~~

Take good care, Faye

You have a beautiful collection. What a wonderful gift you've received. I think the initials on the back are the most special.

Your pink basket is filling up Faye. I just love it! What a gorgeous ornament you made - you stitch really fast my friend. Someone is going to be very pleased to put that under their tree. Bundle up this week, the temps are supposed to be low.

Thanks for sharing that beautiful Merry Christmas finish. I've been looking for something just like that. I'm on my way to Sandy's blog to snag it right now. Sounds like I'll be stitching it tomorrow while at home for a snow day.
I'll be praying you have better weather. Duty days stink when the weather is bad.
